The NPORS 017 Hand-Held Cutoff Saw training course is a comprehensive program designed to equip users with the knowledge and skills required to safely and effectively operate hand-held petrol cutoff saws. This course is crucial for individuals who need to use these tools in various industrial and construction settings. It focuses on several key aspects, including identifying, selecting, inspecting, and fitting different types of cutting wheels on a variety of hand-held cutoff saws.

One of the primary objectives of this training is to enhance participants’ understanding of the legal applications of hand-held cutoff saws. This is essential to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to prevent accidents and injuries in the workplace. Knowing when and how to use these tools within the law is a critical aspect of this training.

The practical session of the course is particularly valuable, as it provides hands-on experience in choosing the appropriate cutting wheel, inspecting it for any defects or damage, and correctly fitting it for a specific cutting task.
