Industrial Counterbalance - Fork Lift Truck Training

Course Introduction

RTITB, the Road Transport Industry Training Board, provides essential training for operating two distinct Rough Terrain truck categories: the Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler (commonly known as a Rough Terrain Telehandler) and the Rough Terrain Masted truck (commonly referred to as a Rough Terrain Forklift). Mastery of both machine types requires completion of their respective training courses.

The Rough Terrain Telescopic Handler (Telehandler) course equips individuals with the skills necessary to operate these versatile machines, known for their telescopic arms and adaptability in challenging terrains. Participants learn to handle materials efficiently and safely, ensuring optimal performance in diverse work environments.

Complementing this, the Rough Terrain Masted Truck course focuses on the operation of Rough Terrain Forklifts. Participants gain expertise in manoeuvring these specialized forklifts across uneven surfaces, enhancing their ability to handle loads with precision in demanding outdoor settings.

Successful completion of both courses not only enhances individual competence but also ensures compliance with industry standards, fostering a safer and more proficient workforce in the operation of Rough Terrain Telescopic Handlers and Rough Terrain Masted trucks.
