Micro Digger (up to 1 Tonne)
NPORS 016 – Micro Digger (up to 1 Tonne) – Skid Steer course will give you the skills to carry out pre-use inspection & handovers, operate the skid steer loader (bobcat) safely and efficiently, Complete bulk loading and other associated construction activities.
This Theory & Practical Course Covers :
- A basic understanding of the industry, the dangers of working in the industry and their responsibilities as an operator
- A working knowledge of the manufacturer’s handbook for the particular machine to be used.
- The ability locate and identify key controls and explain their functions.
- Identification and maintenance of PPE appropriate for micro digger use.
- All necessary safety checks at the work area.
- Preparation the micro digger for use & operating machinery safely and efficiently.
- Environmental considerations.
- Storage and transport of implements and attachments
- Knowledge and understanding of loading and unloading procedures for machine transportation.
- All end of shift and shut down procedures.
- ability to locate and identify the major components of the machine and explain their functions.
