First Aid Training
Our Highfield First Aid training courses provide delegates with the training, knowledge and skills to become first-aiders in the workplace. This qualification meets the requirements for training first-aiders in those organisations that have identified that staff need to be trained to this level within their first-aid needs assessment.
Courses cover topics including the role and responsibilities of a first-aider, assessing an incident, unresponsive casualties (breathing and not breathing), choking, shock and minor injuries. Our 3 day Course and the subsequent 2 day refresher will delve into more depth on topics including administering first aid to causalities with suspected: head, spinal, and chest injuries, burns, scalds, eye injuries, and those suffering from sudden poisoning and anaphylaxis.
we also have the option for courses that add the knowledge required to safely use an automated external defibrillator.
