Confined Space Training (Low Risk)
Course Introduction
The NPORS Low Risk Confined Spaces training course is designed to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to work safely in low-risk confined spaces. The course typically covers topics such as confined space regulations, risk assessments, entry and exit procedures, the use of personal protective equipment, and emergency procedures.
Course Information
- It is envisaged that by the end of this course of training the trainee operator will be able to answer questions on and perform the following:
- Preparing to work safely in low risk confined spaces
- Entering and exiting confined spaces safely
- Using equipment and tools safely and in accordance with manufacturers specifications
- Following procedures and working safely
- Dealing with emergencies
- Using appropriate behaviour for working in low risk confined spaces
- Using appropriate knowledge for working in low risk confined spaces
- Applying relevant industry standards for working in low risk confined spaces
This qualification has been developed for those already working, or preparing to work, in the industry and who will encounter low-risk confined spaces as part of their working duties.
Delegate Requirements – Delegates should be physically fit, in good health and should, generally, not have problems with eyesight or hearing, heart disease, high blood pressure, epilepsy, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence or psychiatric illness.
Novice – This course is designed for the complete Novice delegate but will be equally suitable for delegates who have previously completed the course and are looking to refresh their knowledge.
